You’ve got a presence for your business on the Internet or you’re looking for one. You’re looking for an online partner that will be there to help you grow online because all this ‘techie stuff’ gets on your wick, doesn’t it? It doesn’t matter whether you’re a Mac or a PC user, or you even use Internet Explorer to search the web. Web Presence
This is commonly known as web design or web development. I like to call this your business’s online presence. It takes the form of mydomain.com that you will own, host, and have email(s) for, such as bob@mydomain.com. But, it also includes social media properties and other areas online that help you shout loudly and proudly about your brand and business.
Social Media
You might only use Facebook to connect with current and future clients. I like to register and setup all Discover Web clients on the main social media sites. That doesn’t mean you need to use them all, and some won’t be beneficial to your business this week, but if you decide in six months that Google Plus has moved into the space where you can communicate effectively with your potential clients then wouldn’t it be great to have it already setup? Some people call it inbound marketing, video marketing, copywriting with articles, or just plain SEO (search engine optimisation) or SEM (search engine marketing). It’s more than getting your brand in front of your current and future prospects on Google and Bing search though. Converting Visitors into Sales
You have users coming to your site or your social media properties, but what do you want them to do and how do you entice them to take action. That’s where conversion comes in.
