Business Web Presence

All of the digital assets that represent your brand

Your Brand in The Digital World

An online web presence for your business/brand is essential. You wouldn’t be here reading this if it wasn’t.

It’s no longer about having a static (or brochure) website or just having a one-page site. If you’re thinking about online presence simply because “everyone else has got a website” or “my competitor’s site sings & dances and everything, so I need it too” then you’re thinking about it all wrong.

Your brand needs to engage, communicate and reflect who you are and what you do; your business has an individual culture. You’re in business to affect and enrich other people’s lives and, let’s face it, make some profit along the way.

Discover Web can help you achieve this.

Business web presence isn’t just about your own website. Sure, you can get a web design company to make it look really pretty and sleek (or boringly corporate like other ‘serious’ companies) and get your business cards (with that nice logo on) that highlight your website address.

Your web presence is shouting loudly and proudly about who your brand/organisation is.

Your Business Website

This is the home of your online presence and where most people will decide whether to take action: to pick up the phone, fill in a contact form, or even make a purchase. You want your home on the internet to clearly display who you are, what you do and, most importantly, what benefit you’ll provide the prospective customer/client.

Other Digital Assets

These include any mini-blogs, social media profiles (such as Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn), and information you put out there to attract individuals to communicate with you. These will also incorporate your values and unique perspective on information in your industry and what you see as important to current and prospective clients.

Your New Business Website

Does Discover Web develop and design business websites like traditional web design companies? No. That doesn’t mean to say you won’t walk away with a great website, but what it does mean is that after the implementation of your own website, continual tweaks and optimisations should be made to improve user experience.

Some Websites We’ve Built

Monthly Website Management

Your new home is live on the internet (or it’s had a refresh), but what about its upkeep? Does it even need any?

That’s where our monthly website management comes in. We’ll host your website, ensure any changes or security updates are completed so that your business website is safe and secure, and make any changes or updates that you want.

Want to write a blog post or post a white paper to share with prospective customers/clients? Done.

We work as your partner to ensure your business website is working for you 24/7, and we’ll make any changes/updates to your website within 72 hours.

You’re a specialist at running your business, do you really want to be spending hours on updates and ensuring something looks just right on your website? Probably not.

It’s best to concentrate on what you like the most and what you’re good at: working with your customers/clients to deliver them the best service – leave the geeky stuff to us.

Frequent Questions

We mainly help service-based businesses (selling services and digital products). Whether you’re B2C or B2B, we’ve got experience with business websites in both areas, as well as membership sites, learning management systems, and course-based learning environments.

If you’re a business consultant, coach, elite personal trainer, architect, holiday provider, PR professional, training provider, chalet host/small B&B owner, wellness coach, sales consultant, or any other professional in a similar field, we can help.

We love delving into who you’re trying to connect with, and any problems/solutions you’re offering to solve for your current/prospective customers/clients.

Ecommere: we build eCommerce stores/websites, but if you have thousands of SKUs, then we’re not the right fit. If you run a store with a subscription model of under 100 products, then that’s right up our street, and we should talk.

First, we’ll have a discovery call. Get to know one another over a short conversation and see if we’re a good fit. If we’re going to be working together for the next 10-15 years, it’s essential that we can both look in the same direction.

Then we’ll delve into your digital strategy. If you don’t have one, we’ll create it together.

Taking this strategy, we’ll already know who your customer avatar(s) is(are) and structure your new business website around them: our key goal is to attract the right people and get them to take an action (whether that’s contacting you, picking up the phone, or completing a contact form).

Going forward, we’ll manage your online presence and periodically update your business website as your business grows and evolves. We’ll also be on hand to offer our expert opinion on the best way forward.

Getting onto page one of Google isn’t just a case of “build it and they will rank me”. There’s most likely more than a handful of businesses trying to rank for keyword terms (and customers) you are seeking.

Your new business website will be properly optimised for SEO and to rank in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages), but that doesn’t mean you’ll end up on page one.

Using our SEO marketing service every month will help your website with the best chance of ranking highly in Google (and other search engines) and attracting the right visitors to your new business website.

Yes, we can, and we’d also argue that we should: you’re the expert in your business, we’re the experts in digital.

If you understand hosting environments, we use tier 1 hosting providers and ensure your website is speed optimised on our servers.

Our monthly maintenance packages start at £79 per month and include secure, fast hosting, CMS updates, speed optimisation, and security monitoring of your business website. Most changes are usually included in this monthly fee too (such as page updates or publishing new posts on your business blog).

We also have a rapid response system where, if anything happens, we’ll be on top of it within 12 hours (seven days a week).

In short, no.

The longer answer is that we’ll rebuild your business website using WordPress. This ensures a good design that resonates with your prospective customers and converts them from prospects into paying customers.

If you have an eCommerce store, then we’ll choose Shopify or WordPress as the platform (read this article to see why).

Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy are okay starter platforms for hobbyists or Sandra, who may sell her yoga classes down the road, but not for serious businesses or entrepreneurs.

The final price depends on the different elements you want for your business website.

If you want a membership site, learning portal, online course, or eCommerce features, then these will be added to the final price.

As a minimum, we would charge £1,250 for a business website. A complete eCommerce website on Shopify could cost between £5,000 and £20,000, for example.

The final price depends on what you’re trying to achieve, who your target audience (avatar) is, and why you want this project now. Read more about our pricing here.

If you book a discovery call, we can likely assist you in understanding your current needs and help you solidify your digital strategy through our Digital Blueprint Roadmap sessions.

Book a Discovery Call to chat with us and see if we’re both the right fit.

If we believe we are, then we’ll probably suggest a plan of action through either a proposal that you can review or, most likely, a Digital Roadmap Strategy: a deliverable strategy document that sets out how your brand should develop and grow online.
